The Henry Ford Hospital Headache Disability Inventory/Index (HDI) was developed to quantify the impact of headache on daily living. A 25-item headache questionnaire derived from case history resposes of subjects with headache, and it subgrouped into functional and emotional subscales to assess the impact of headache, and its treatment on daily living.
