Case presentation

John is a 28 year old man with a left knee disarticulation and left transhumeral amputation sustained as the result of a land mine accident. He has no other co-morbidities.  His primary rehabilitation goal is to return to normal ambulation so that he can experience normal family life with his wife and two young children.
