  1.  Strengthening exercise

    a. Rotator cuff

• Exorotation
This exercise can be used if you need to strengthen the external rotators of your shoulder.
The patient lies on his unaffected side. The elbow of the effected arm is bent and the elbow is tucked into the body. The forearm rests on the abdomen. The patient moves his hand up so that it is the highest point of the body. To begin you can do this exercise without weight but if it becomes too easy you can hold a weight in your hand. The patient performs this exercise 15 times ([1]; Level of evidence 1A).
