I graduated from the University of Toronto in 1980 with a BSc(PT) and then completed the three-year diploma of manipulative Therapy from the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapy Association in 1984. I lived in New Zealand for a total of six years (meeting my wife and having our first son there) and returned to Canada in 1986. I live in London Ontario and work in private practice. I returned to school and completed the master of clinical science in manipulative therapy at the University of Western Ontario in 2008 and ma now working on a DPT through the University of St. Augustine. I am the president-elect of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy and teach the Mulligan concept of manual therapy in both Canada and the Caribbean. My current interests include the development of advanced practice Physiotherapy skills and the implementation of clinical prediction rules to traditional orthopaedic manual therapy.
