I am from Harwood Heights, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University in the summer of 2007 in which I received a degree in athletic training. I went back to school part time for a year after I graduated so that I could take prerequisite classes to apply to physical therapy school. During this time I received my CSCS certification and worked as a personal trainer part time for Bally's Total Fitness in Chicago, Illinois. I am currently a second year physical therapy student at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. I am currently interested in the orthopedic setting due to my back ground as an athletic trainer but am still very interested in the acute care setting as well as the rehabilitation setting though at this time I have little experience in both. I have had two orthopedic clerkship rotations at two seperate KORT locations in Louisville, Kentucky. I am very interested in the military setting and am going to perform 2 internship rotations in the military setting one is an orthopedic rotation at Ireland Army Community Hospital in Ft Knox, Kentucky, the other is an acute care setting at Central Arkansas VHCS in Little Rock, Arkansas.
