I am a registered physiotherapist holding a Bachelors of Science with honours from the prestigious University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. I am reading to complete my Doctor of Physical Therapy with Utica College by August 2015. My work experience varies in all areas of physical therapy management, but I currently practice physical therapy and aquatic therapy and serve as supervisor for junior physiotherapists and students. I have also volunteered as physiotherapist and worked with Jamaica's national under 16 and 21 girls football team in 2013 - it was an experience to remember! My passion for helping people has allowed me to have great relationships with my patients. I love making their sessions varied, fun and effective!
I am blessed with the team of physiotherapists I work with and thoroughly enjoy wound care, aquatic therapy, neurology and orthopedic physical therapy.
Outside of physiotherapy, I have a keen interest in motor sports and sometimes marshal for motor rallies and raceway events.I am also a violinist since the tender age of 4 years old. I have been a member of many string ensembles and orchestras and currently, I am a violinist in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jamaica.
