Wrist flexion

Testing position[edit | edit source]

Patient is seated with the shoulder abducted to 90 degrees, elbow flexed to 90 degrees and wrist over the edge of a table or plinth with forearm in pronation.

Goniometer Placement[edit | edit source]

AXIS LOCATION STATIONARY ARM MOVEMENT ARM
over lateral triquetrial bone parallel with the ulnar parallel with longitudinal axis of 5th metacarpal

Expected Findings[edit | edit source]

Expected range of motion is 0- 75 degrees
