Physiopedia Awards Programme

Original Editor - Rachael Lowe Top Contributors - Amanda Ager, Kim Jackson, Rachael Lowe and Vidya Acharya

Introduction[edit | edit source]

Physiopedia is the result of voluntary contributions from an amazing group of altruistic individuals and organisations that wish to contribute to public knowledge related to rehabilitation. The Physiopedia Awards Programme recognises and features the diligence and efforts of people who have made significant and impactful contributions. These awards also serve to showcase the impact these contributions are having on the global rehabilitation professions.

Anyone can nominate a candidate, and in turn, be nominated. Awards are decided by the awards committee and are given each year in July. If someone has made an impression on you this year, nominate them in one of the following categories:

  1. Physiopedia Superstar - Outstanding contribution by an individual.
  2. Best Physiopedia Project - Most impactful project in partnership with Physiopedia.
  3. Social Media Impact Award - Individual who has made the most impact via social media.
  4. Physiospot Superstar - Individual with the most impactful Physiospot article.
  5. Outstanding Leadership - Individual that has demonstrated great leadership.
  6. Innovation Award - Most forward thinking and creative contributions.
  7. Impact Award - The individual that has made the greatest impact to rehabilitation through their contribution to Physiopedia.

The following are also awarded each year by the awards committee:

  1. Physiopedia Top Contributor - The individual who has contributed the most content to Physiopedia.
  2. Plus Superstar - Individual who collects the most Plus points.
