About me[edit | edit source]

I am a second year graduate student in kinesiology and exercise science from University of north Texas. I completed my bachelors in physical therapy from India. To gain practical knowledge, I have worked in multiple hospitals as a rotational physical therapist. It was a great experience where I got the opportunity to treat Orthopedic, neurological and pediatric cases. Dealing with the stroke cases made me realize that it is always better to treat the root cause of diseases like diabetes, blood pressure which make the disorder more worse and make people live a healthy lifestyle. I started working with the population who were suffering from Type 2 diabetes where I used combination of aerobic and resistance training intervention and this technique helped in maintaining the blood sugar level. With a desire to expertise my knowledge in research field, I made a decision to continue with my further master studies and currently I am doing my thesis.
