Nancie Finnie was one of the first therapists to consider the problems of cerebral palsy from a practical and functional point of view. The first edition of her book in 1968 provided new perspectives on the management of young children with CP. Finnie understood the needs of the children at home, in their own environments, and together with their families. The book has stood time and is widely read and translated throughout the world. The fourth edition was edited by Ewa Bauer, and it is dedicated to the late Nancie Finnie. Illustrator is Annabel Milne.
