I am a Physical Therapist from the Philippines since 1994. For more than 20 years I have assumed most of the professional roles of a PT. Nonetheless, I found myself being fulfilled as an educator. My home institution is Cebu Doctors’ University (CDU) where I teach Anatomy, Kinesiology, and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy courses. Apart from teaching, my administrative task is as Program Chair of the Physical Therapy program of CDU, where my responsibility is to keep the PT curriculum abreast with local and international standards and the teaching-learning strategies grounded to the needs of a student-centered educational framework.
What keeps me busy outside the university walls is still related to the PT profession. I am affiliated with a couple of organizations whose mandate includes Physical Therapy education and the practitioners of the profession.
