I qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. The past 3 years I worked in a combined hospital- and outpatient practice in South Africa. Work included intensive care- and respiratory physiotherapy, orthopaedics, sports- and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Currently, I am working in a physiotherapy clinic based in Auckland, New Zealand.
My participation in provincial and national level sport schooled and directed me toward my profession as a physiotherapist. I have a passion for human biomechanics and exercise and invest most of my time learning about human movement, fitness and function. My goal is to provide my clients with the best and most up-to-date treatment and advice to assist them in managing and living a happier and healthier lifestyle.
At present, I am enrolled in the Physiopedia Volunteer Orientation Course and also in the process of completing my Personal Trainer Certification.
