Dr. Mark Barnes is founder and CEO of Tx Xchange, a web-based telehealth network for health, wellness, and fitness providers and their patients. He is interested in the clinical applications of web-based telehealth platforms and their effect on patient outcomes, cost-effectiveness, and patient-centric care delivery models. He is also interested in using telehealth applications to build patient communities.
Mark has owned and operated multiple out-patient orthopedic physical therapy clinics in Boulder, Colorado for 18 years and has developed and published numerous evidence-based therapeutic guidelines.
Mark has a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University, holds a three year Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University/Winchester Medical Center, and graduated from Colorado University with his Bachelors and post graduate research in Exercise Physiology.
