I am an outpatient physical therapist at the Comprehensive Community Care program which helps clients to manage their physical, medical and social well-being. Our team helps clients with their medications, laboratory tests, specialist appointments and therapy - everything needed to stay independent and in charge of their own lives.
During the Master Science PT program we were given the opportunity to get exposure in many areas of Physical Therapy with five 6 week clinical placements. I have experience at Diverse Sports Physical Therapy, a private practice clinic in Calgary, as well as previous experience at Alberta Health Services which includes placements at the Peter Lougheed Centre doing In-Patient Ortho, University of Alberta General ICU, Ponoka Centennial Centre for Mental Health & Brain Injury and the Alberta Children’s Hospital mixed outpatients. I have had experience working with patients from infant to geriatric and seen a variety of conditions. I have also had experience in the assessment, treatment and discharge planning of cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal and neurological patients working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
