I am working as a Physiotherapist (Clinical & Research) in a well reputed institute in Bangalore, KA, India. | I am working as a Physiotherapist (Clinical & Research) in a well reputed institute in Bangalore, KA, India. I graduated, Bachelors of Physiotherapy from Government Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, KK Nagar, Chennai, TN, India, which is the 2nd best Institute in Asia offering Physiotherapy. I developed a liking towards rehabilitation of Stroke patients during my project which i took up in my final year of Graduation which made me to do my specialisation thereafter as Masters in Neuro-Physiotherapy under Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai, TN, India. I have participated and won in Paper & Poster presentations of State, National & International Level. During my period of post-graduation, i worked as a Research Associate under my guide and worked in research projects on evidence based practice in PT, community ambulation of stroke patients, vestibular rehabilitation and cerebral palsy. In the due course of the time my research on "KAP of EBP among PTs" got international acclamation as it got peer reviewed and accepted for presentation at the EVIDENCE LIVE 13, an International conference, jointly organised by the BMJ and CEBM, University of oxford, UK. http://www.evidencelive.org/2013/posters I was also one among very few number of delegates to be entered in the student doctor category after being shortlisted by an article on "Enriched Environment" reviewed by the BMJ and CEBM. http://www.evidencelive.org/2013/student-entries | ||
