I graduated as a physiotherapist with Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy 1999 in Bulgaria. Initially working in private practice with acute and chronic musculoskeletal outpatients. The travel bug got to me and I relocated to Bahrain working as Exercise and Massage Therapist in 2000-2002. Moved to England in 2002 and lived here ever since. Life took me to many different paths until 2010 when I joined the physiotherapy team in private hospital in London as a physiotherapy assistant. Currently employed as Lead Physiotherapy Assistant and Manual Handling Co-ordinator. Working mostly in Inpatient settings with Orthopaedic patients. As part of my duties, I'm involved in pre-operative assessment to patients for elective surgeries, inpatient care, and post-operative treatment. As Manual Handling Co-ordinator I provide Moving and Handling training to our hospital staff as well as guidance and advice with regards to moving and handling practice. Next step- to find my first Physiotherapist job in UK.
