Physiotherapist, HCPC registered since 2014 but has graduated as physiotherapist back in 2000 back in the philippines, from 2011 started workign as physioassistant in Royal Hosp for Neurodiasbility West Hill putney for 4 years, where i have worked alogn side senior Physiotherapist whom i worked with wards with mechanically ventilated patients, Neurodisabled patients with complex disabilities, worked alongside nurses with clients with Tracheostomy, learning more on practical assessment on neuroanatomy, respiratory assessments and treatments, learnign of the machines being operated for tracheostomy suctioning, started working as a junior physiotherapist 2015 in SouthEast Kent NHS Community for 7 months, then moved on to work in CAnterbury Kent MS Centre working as actign lead physiotherapist doing Neuro-assessments,landbased physiotherapy and water-based therapy( Aquatic Therapy), then in 2018 started working as a junior physiotherapist again in QEQM hosp in Margate Kent, brief period of 6 mos workign in STroke unit and medical Wards, has then moved back to Surrey in Bagshot to work again in NeuroRehab for 6 mos working on assessments, land and water based treatments for neurodisabled clients for 7 mos then has moved on to work what i really wanted to do in the first place and that is to do MSK physiotherapy , i have recently started working as an autonomous physiotherapy clinician under the wing and tutelage of Ascenti Physiotherapy Group, where i see 16-20 clients per day Monday to friday and since i accepted workign as a permanent locum staff for Ascenti, i travel alot into different places and encounter different case scenarios, different contracts both under NHS and MedicoLegal side, different contracts different rules ,where i needed to adjust quickly and manage to pick up fast informations relayed to me in a short noticed period, where i can be called anytime where im required to cover for maternity leaves, permanent staffs on leave, offsick or on training where a physiotherapist is needed to prevent any client appointment cancellations. I am also beign supervised weekly by a mentor to make sure i am up to standards with the principles of the Group and he makes sure that i am able to access free training and suspervision where required. I am currently happy with my job role, the difuclt part is the travelling because i will never know where i will be next as i said earlier it is part of the contract ive signed up for. but it excites me more and makes me feel that i am making a difference in peoples lives
