Introduction[edit | edit source]

Dyslipidemia is characterized by an elevation of serum total cholesterol (TC), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), or triglycerides (TG) and reduced serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) concentration.[1]
