Testing position[edit | edit source]

Best testing position is bilateral stance. Alternatively, patient is prone with test-side foot & ankle off end of plinth

Goniometer Placement[edit | edit source]

AXIS LOCATION STATIONARY ARM MOVEMENT ARM
proximal to achilles tendon insertion midline of lower leg midline of calcaneus

Expected Findings[edit | edit source]

Expected range of motion is 10 degrees.
