Patient is supine with the hand supinated. You may need a pillow under the upper arm in cases of hyperextension (>0)

lateral epicondyle of the elbow parallel with the humerus parallel with the radius

Expected Findings[edit | edit source]

Expected range of motion is 0 degrees in males and 10-15 degrees in females (hyperextension)[1]
