About Me
[edit | edit source]

I am a former military Physiotherapist with the Canadian Armed Forces and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Health Sciences at Gent University in Belgium. My interests include orthopaedics, shoulder pathologies, proprioception and neuromuscular control, clinical practice guidelines, outcome measures, and evidence-based practice (to name a few!). I am a self-proclaimed geek and it is my professional responsibility to contribute to the advancement and recognition of Physiotherapy as a respected profession on the world stage.

My research focuses primarily on exercise prescription for the neuromuscular control of the shoulder and measuring our sense of proprioception.
