As part of a sports physiotherapy module in college I was able to treat a variety of injuries that occured in the gymnastics club. I also completed clinical placement in a Dublin paediatric hospital, working in the area of neurodevelopmental therapy. It was from here that my interest in paediatrics began to grow.

[edit | edit source]

I am a final year physiotherapy student due to graduate from UCD in September 2011. Over the course of my training I completed over 1,000 hours of clinical placement in a variety of areas. I have yet to decide on a favoured area to specialise in although at the minute my interest lies in paediatrics.

I am a qualified Irish Gymnastics coach and have been working with children from the ages of 5 to 15 for the last seven years. As part of a sports physiotherapy module in college I was able to treat a variety of injuries that occured in the gymnastics club. I also completed clinical placement in a Dublin paediatric hospital, working in the area of neurodevelopmental therapy. It was from here that my interest in paediatrics began to grow.
