Born and raised in Scotland, Laura came to Canada in 2001 to begin her university education. Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a BSc(Hons) in Kinesiology in 2005 and then a Master of Physiotherapy in 2007, she has worked in several busy practices, from a single independent clinic to part of a trans-Canada corporation. About Me[edit | edit source]
Born and raised in Scotland, Laura came to Canada in 2001 to begin her university education. Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a BSc(Hons) in Kinesiology in 2005 and then a Master of Physiotherapy in 2007, she has worked in several busy practices, from a single independent clinic to part of a trans-Canada corporation. Laura then completed her Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy at Western University in 2012, which concurrently made her a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists.
Laura is currently the Clinic Director at Lifemark - Wortley Village in London Ontario. Her main clinical interests are orthopaedics, vestibular rehabilitation, concussion management and cancer rehabilitation and she continues to pursue education in these areas. Laura also enjoys a concurrent role as an Exercise Leader for patients undergoing and recovering from cancer at the local Wellspring facility.
