User:Laura Ritchie

Since graduating from the University of Western Ontario, I have worked in several busy practices, from a single independent clinic to part of a trans-Canada corporation. My main interests are orthopaedics and sports physiotherapy and I continue to pursue education in these areas. I am currently undertaking the UWO Master of Clinical Science in Manipulative Therapy. This program will allow me to achieve my primary goal of being a member of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists. I have provided voluntary medical coverage at many sporting events, including the 2006 World Lacrosse Championships, the 2007 Canadian National Juvenile Wrestling Championships, the 2010 BMO Canadian Figure Skating Championships and the 2010 Canadian Special Olympics.

Specialties: Manual therapy, evidence-based practice, orthopaedic & musculoskeletal injuries, sports physiotherapy, running injuries, TMJ dysfunctions, functional rehabilitation, work hardening/conditioning, workers compensation, motor vehicle collisions
