I qualified as a physiotherapist from Padova University in 2011. My early clinical years were spent working in different clinical environments, mainly in private clinics with a focus on orthopedics and musculo-skeletal rehabilitation. After a while I became interested in Respiratory Physiotherapy and I started to work on a Pulmonology ward in a peripheral hospital for almost four years. Within this time I've nourished my passion on Pulmonary rehabilitation attending a Postgraduate Master in Respiratory Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Milan University and several professional development courses in that field. I moved my first steps on research at Milan Cystic Fibrosis Regional Centre where I owned a bursary on specific lung function testing. I've continued my job and training specifically on Cystic Fibrosis and pediatric respiratory physiotherapy at Florence Cystic Fibrosis Regional Centre. I've also expanded my knowledge on clinical research with a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Applied Statistics. By now I'm still working on a Cystic Fibrosis Centre and I'm interested in non-invasive ventilation, airway clearance and exercise. I'm advocate to the full recognition of respiratory physiotherapy academic specialization in my country. I'm also involved in several health "citizen science" project and I'm a staunch supporter of "Gaming Science".
