I am a qualified physiotherapist from India. I completed my bachelors from christian Medical College, Vellore in 2011 following which i worked there as a physiotherapist for 2 years in the [[Hemophilia]] Rehabilitation unit and In patient Orthopedic Unit. I also had the opportunity to work in some of the special clinics such as Back school and Lymph-edema clinic. The two years in Christian Medical College also developed my interest in research field and i had the opportunity to do a [[Cochrane Review]]. As a young physiotherapist who was passionate about sports, wanted to become a sports physiotherapist and started my pathway by joining Masters Degree program in Sports Rehabilitation from Manipal University , Bangalore. The Masters program was strenuous and hard but it was really fruitful for my career and it improved my evidence based practice skills. Following my Graduation in 2015 i got through an Interview for Rio Olympics preparatory camp and i started working with Sports Authority of India as a Sports Physiotherapist. I have been engaged as a physiotherapist with India [[Hockey Team]] Women Senior and Junior (U-21), Men(U-21), Indian [[Volleyball Team]] Men and Women, Indian [[Athletics]] Team( [[Middle and long Distance]] ), [[Race Walk Team]]. Currently working with Middle Distance Athletes and [[Paralympic]](T 42) high Jump Team. I am certified in [[neurodynamics]] and [[dry needling]] technique. Sports Enthusiast and keen on learning and developing my knowledge in physical therapy to provide the best possible treatment for my clients/patients.I am a keen follower of sports and i do play a mediocre level of game in Badminton, Volleyball, Football and Cricket. Fun loving and my best times are with my friends. | |||
