My name is Gabriele Dara. | |||
I was born and raised in Italy where I also completed my first BSc in Sports Science at the University of Palermo. | |||
Currently, I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I am about to finish (graduation due in November 2020) a second study program: BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. During my experience as a student, I have been involved in different areas of our profession (orthopaedics, neurology, sports physiotherapy and on-ward physiotherapy), and had the chance to practise in The Netherlands, Italy and Spain. The interest in the research-related aspects of our profession and the need of being constantly up-to-date with the latest evidence, motivated me in starting a volunteering project with Physiopedia, aiming to contribute to the improvement of this amazing platform. | |||
The physiotherapy areas which are of my interest are ageing and Musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Besides physiotherapy, I like sports (especially tennis and football) and learning new languages. | |||

Who am I?[edit | edit source]
Hi there!
My name is Gabriele Dara.
I was born and raised in Italy where I also completed my first BSc in Sports Science at the University of Palermo.
Currently, I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, where I am about to finish (graduation due in November 2020) a second study program: BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. During my experience as a student, I have been involved in different areas of our profession (orthopaedics, neurology, sports physiotherapy and on-ward physiotherapy), and had the chance to practise in The Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
