Definition/Description[edit | edit source]
A syndrome (or sometimes referred to as a disease) that causes inflammation in the blood vessels of the body. The most common symptoms are sores in the mouth, sex organs, and on the skin, as well as swelling in the eye, pain, stiffness, and swelling in the joints. The more serious complications include meningitis, blood clots, inflammation of the GI tract, and blindness.
