Neuro-otology (or Otoneurology) is a branch of medicine dealing with the neurologic study of the ear. It includes problems related to Vestibular organ, Hearing organ, nervous and skull disorders. Commonly treated conditions includes: BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), Meniere's disease, Vestibular neuritis, Vestibular schwannoma, Migraine associated dizziness and also includes oculomotor disorders (diplopia, nystagmus, ptosis and impaired extra-ocular muscles).
