I am a Registered Physiotherapist from Nepal. I have graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2018.
I have been working as a Clinical Physiotherapist for 2 years. I am currently working as a Subacute physiotherapist in Dhulikhel Hospital (one of the community hospitals) and as a community therapist in its outreach centers. As I have started working, I have started to love my profession as I would see patients improving, and being able to do they weren't able to do and smile on their face really makes me feel happy.
Now working in the rural communities of Nepal, I am interested in Pediatric Physiotherapy. There are many children and infants who aren't getting physiotherapy due to a lack of knowledge of parents about role of physiotherapy in developmental delays and cerebral palsy. This is making them face a lot of problems in their functional abilities which if they had got treatment in time would not have to suffer this much. Not only that incorporating recent advances done in developed countries in the field of rehabilitation in developing countries like Nepal is challenging and been my interest too.
I believe in, " The only person you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday."- Amy Morin
That's why I always try to learn from small things possible and because of which I am here in Physiopedia to learn, improve my skills as well as to provide a bit contribution to our community.
